Good start. I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Well that was scary, enemies spawning right in front of me made me jump IRL. :O
I thought the main level was pretty impressive.
thanks. honestly i'm quite underwhelmed with the result, first the guys i tend to team with use unity mostly and i couldn't find a team so going solo i couldn't dedicate as much time as i like to (if you look closely at the surrounding snow you will see its modular, this is because i wasn't sure i would be able to fill the city on time) and it ended very similar to another map used for ludum dare. second i couldn't get to simulate daytime properly so i had to resort to "survive until x minutes" instead of a more comfy resource gathering i had planned. /rant
i haven't added credits/licenses yet but everything inside the /buildings folder is cc0 so have fun with it. the plan for now is to do a little clean up, package everything and release the assets on open game art or sketch fab.
You go around shooting big things and you get cold if they get close. It was rather slow (there is a lot of them) so it didn't take long for them to corner me. Good job.
thanks, i will use this opportunity to apologize for the way the drops and enemy spawning were handled. as a result the jam version is quite unsurvivable.
You don't need to apologize, just say it's a "feature" :p while you fix it on the next version.
