great game! very addictive to try to get a new high score, I spent 10 minutes playing this and got 1474.
Simple but fun and addictive game π!
Gameplay
Simple concept and controls, but addictive to get higher and higher and gain altitude without failing. Easy to understand and fun to Tetris the objects together. More object would be even more fun or some kind of powerups maybe...
Graphics
Good clean art that are very recognizable objects and you can guess there mass also because you know what the objects are. Plus the crocodile was fun of course π. Liked the small particle effects on drop and the camera shake.
Audio
Catchy soundtrack and the SFX on drop are fun too. The pitch change when you go higher and higher is a very good idea and also makes you a bit nervous not to screw it π.
Theme
The fragile tower stacking fits the theme well.
Devlog
It is a short devlog, but better than no devlog and it does explain some the progress and how you made the game.
Conclusion: cool game. Especially as I have read that you started late in this Jam. Still a very nice effortπͺ.
This is a really great game! I found it funny if you clicked really fast and the screen shook rapidly and a bunch of items spew from your mouse. and on top of that the artstyle is great, and the music is also amazing
Really neat idea , love the screen shake when you drop the objects really makes it feel as though they are really heavy. The varied shapes of the objects also make it really fun to try stack them. I love how you still managed to produce a game after not having come up with an idea at the start. Only thing I would say to add is an online leaderboard, theres a few videos online and it can really help add some competition to a game. Had fun playing it though , will likely be back to beat my score.
Thanks so much! I have never done anything like online leaderbords before, so this will be a fun challenge, thanks.
No problem , let me know if you need a hand sorting it out. I use a website called Dreamlo to store data for mine
