so I started making the game in 3d and am about halfway done before rereading the jam rules, is there any reason why it needs to be 2d and if the reason is that it has to be playable in browser then that shouldnt be a problem

If you can play it in browser it'll be fine, I just want the game to run smoothly on all devices.
