That was really cool! I tried to do a similar effect with the game my partner and I submitted but I couldn't quite figure out how. I think it was a bit hard at times but overall this game is awesome

Awesome Game, goes well with the theme I am curious how you accomplish that radar effect! Game was difficult but I like it very much. Very Similar to my teams game Blackout!

It is a very cool idea, however it made me feel motion sick :<, the game is not very easy to play but with a bit more attention not making everything look the same would help it a lot!

I was trying to work on a way to make certain object get highlighted by the wave going a different colour when they hit them but couldn't get it to work but the absolute darkness is part of the game as the Player is a blind man and can only see with the sonar and nothing else, im sorry to hear it caused motion sickness  :(

This was awesome. I've never played a game like this before and you killed the theme! Great spooky ambiance. Only wish is that I had a better way to tell how sensitive my mouse is before starting or while in the game, although that may detract from the good amount of disorientation this game provides. A+ job!

this is a better executed version of the blackout game that was submitted a while ago, i really like the idea but what the blackout game did better was not having just darkness, there were some things you can see in that game. and that is where your game is lacking. gg

btw im the artist of the game Deadly Light

Yeah, the theme I was going for is that the player is completely blind and without the echolocation effect from the click, the player cannot see at all and must rely on it completely  in order to complete the game.

Thank you for the kind words! I definitely think this game nailed the sonar effect way better than my friend an mine's did. However we chose to make some of the furniture more visible since in ours the player also has to avoid a monster. This game has a way better sonar tho

Great work. Had the same idea, but wasn't confident I could replicate the cool sonar effect you made, so I went in a different direction. Would you mind divulging how you went about it?

I did alot of searching forums and youtube on echolocation and found a few relevent YouTube videos and adapted them to suit my needs for my game, one of the videos was a shader study on the radar effect from no mans sky and another was a pulsing radar effect
