That was super short but so much fun. Like the progression spike from barely defending my castle to just obliterating all the enemies as they spawn was exhilarating. I think the toy castle was not as well drawn as the rest of the sprites but the art was generally well done. I really liked the teddy bears. The upgrade mechanics were a nice addition and really helped "complete" the game. If you could flesh that out, maybe add some obstacles and sophisticated path-finding for the troops and enemies (maybe look into using the A* algorithm?), I think you could get this published on a website like Armor Games.

Fun little rhythm game. I really like how in order to get a perfect "hit" you have to get really close to letting the top fall over. Add some music, sound effects, and screen shake on hits and this game will be JUICY

Very cute and fun! I played it in fullscreen as recommended. The sound effects were subtle and fit the game's minimalistic style well. The graphics did appear a little blurry though.

The graphics are clean and the physic work pretty well for such a small game. I think the music choice was bit odd and little dreary 😅

Also I really would have liked it if you could make lines of blocks disappear like in tetris! I instinctively tried to do that and was a little disappointed when that didn't work (but I suppose I shouldn't have expected it to).

I like the idea - it's like an inverse matching game where the goal is not to buy two of the same thing. The levels get harder as you buy more items because you have to remember how many of each item you bought! The purchase animation is simple but cute. Music and SFX would have really completed this. Also I'm not sure if the rules are working properly - I can buy two of the same item and nothing seems to happen.

(1 edit)

Simple and with a strong, fun core mechanic! I like how the car gets progressively dirtier as you drive through dirt. I also like how the difficulty gradually increases.

OMG this is so funny. I really like the use of spatial sound for comedic/dramatic effect

Kinda hard but really fun! And the music is catchy

Thanks for the feedback!

This game was so intriguing, I got sucked into it for like fifteen minutes just so I could watch the NPCs and see what they were up to!

I wish there were some sort of progression or way to "win", but right now it's a pretty funny mall simulator.

Relaxing. It would be nice if there were some sort of progression system though, like unlocking more items to keep stocked or getting upgrades. Also it would be nice if there were some way to lose (right now I don't think you can lose?). Overall though fun and cute.

Got a score of 5000!

Simple and juicy. From the animations, to the sound effects, this game is small but polished.

It looks neat but I can't do anything :( I can't figure out the controls

Great game! Reminds me of Motherload.

The art reminds me of old 3D flash games I used to play as a kid. I really like the title card and the concept. I would prefer it if I could 1) look up and 2) beat the boss

That's a good idea, thank you for the suggestion 😃

This game is amazing!!! One of the best horror games on Itch that I've played

Cool idea with all the conflicting goals. The game's a bit buggy at times but I think that's just a consequence of it being so ambitious. It would be interesting to see this concept refined and fleshed out into a more complete work. Nice 👍

Ooh I really like this concept. I feel like it's a bit hard to do a survival game like this though since you have to keep close to your homebase at all times to maintain the fire. I made some kinda purple hammer too and that was really cool!

This is fun! I'm worried that I might get carpal tunnel if I play it for too long though haha

Hahaha I was not expecting them to say what they do when they see you, too perfect 😂

This is so intricate and unsettling

Gotta say that Fleetwood Mac cover is a bit haunting. This is cute and melancholy, hope you stay well during this odd time

This game was ridiculous in the best way possible. I didn't really know what was going on, partly because some of the instructions were unclear and partly because the UI didn't correctly scale with the window size, but regardless this game was hilarious and fun. The controls could have been better too; the mouse control didn't feel right. Also I don't like how the little pancakes die in one hit, at first I wasn't sure if I could kill them because I was shooting them and nothing was happening. The story was ridiculous and funny though, and the voice overs were so great. 🎂

Thank you for the kind words! I definitely think this game nailed the sonar effect way better than my friend an mine's did. However we chose to make some of the furniture more visible since in ours the player also has to avoid a monster. This game has a way better sonar tho

That was really cool! I tried to do a similar effect with the game my partner and I submitted but I couldn't quite figure out how. I think it was a bit hard at times but overall this game is awesome

I don't really see how this relates to the theme, and the game isn't finished so I can't really provide much constructive criticism, but this seems like it would be a fun browser game when completed.

Cool. A bit confusing at first but once I got a hang of the controls not too hard.

Very creepy and abrupt, though somewhat subtle and terrifying at the same time.

Very creepy... I like it though. The sudden loud noises and screen shake made me uncomfortable, but I think that contributed to the atmosphere. Perfect for October!!

Simple and adorable. I very much enjoyed this.

Really good! To say that the visuals are awesome would be an understatement. I haven't even heard the sound yet (just played it muted), but I bet it's awesome too. All in all an amazing games, saving this for sure.

Cool spin on the classic dodger game, I haven't beaten it yet but I like it so far. The story text and music are both nice too. I like the color choice. Overall the game and presentation is very clean and of good quality :)

Pretty simple. I would have liked a little background tune. Also I wish there were an ending where the Mahzuns and the humans lived together peacefully. I  don't really like how it has to end  in segregation or violence; I feel like that isn't a good message. I really like the compact design and aesthetics though.

You know I never thought of Adventure when I was  making this, my mind was stuck on Rogue haha. Maybe I should add some Easter eggs, then it'd really be like Adventure ;)

Thanks for the compliments, yeah it could  definitely  use more mechanics. I just wanted to get it in before  the deadline though haha.  I'll add  that to the list of things to improve upon 👍

Haha I can imagine. Thanks  :)

I want more!! This was adorable and I feel like there could be so much to do with the concept!

Fun and simple. I wish the last boss had a bit better tells and that more puzzles actually required you to use the items you find, but overall great.
