Really good use of ai generated art! I think pixel art lends itself a bit better to feeling cohesive, as there were only a few areas where it stood out (mainly just the first picture of the cat and then the next picture of the cat was red).
The gameplay was a bit confusing to pick up at first, but I got it after a few tries. I unfortunately was unable to beat the game after 2 tries, but picked up a decent amount of clues and ingredients.
I think some instructions would help out quite a bit. Along with a map of some sort. It’s hard to keep track as you move along. Also, there were a handful of times the arrows disappeared, which I think occurred after I pressed “Play again?”.
Overall though, good job!
Good catch on the play again bug. Looks like the GUI is not resetting.
