Howdy, sure, here you go! Sorry for the delay. Most info needed should be in the README on the page or in the comments in the files. I put pseudocode examples for the main functions. As long as construct can do GET/POST requests, it should work. Let me know if you have any questions. https://github.com/nickjrotundo/simple-high-scores
Do note that, given that this was written as part of a jam, it was written under the same time constraints as the jam haha. Therefore, while reasonable effort was given to make it reliable and generally secure, there is room for improvement no doubt.

Pretty great for a tech demo! Very nice considering the time you spent on it. Feel like I'm in an ice cave on the moon, which is definitely not a bad thing haha. I also like the animations.
If you keep working on it, keep us updated!
I've been wanting to do a game in LOVE for a while, so good on you for actually trying it!
Edit: Oh right, I'm sure link in comment below is helpful. I had LOVE installed already so it was a simple as double-clicking the downloaded file and it opened in 1440p full-screen (and actually looked really quite good, there must be some excellent scaling happening under the hood. I would not have known it was a low-res game haha)
Haha I really wanted to try making a line rider style game, but it seemed like there were a decent amount of hurdles to work around, so great job! It plays really well too! Especially in some of the later levels, trying to get everything to connect.
Also, nice touch with the snow effect. It makes the background much more interesting.
This seems super legit. Not at all sus.
virustotal so y'all don't have to. I'm not saying anything one way or the other, but, y'know.
Cool idea overall! I like how the player's attention is focused on the conveyer belt and not what may or may not be happening behind them haha.
I'm sure this is something you would have fixed with more time, but I couldn't get my mouse to lock to the window. Could also just be an issue on my system, not sure. Required some shenanigans to actually turn around lol.
Good effort!
Very fun game! I really like the upgrades and how they are presented. I had a hard time choosing which ones to take, which is good because they all sounded like good choices. Web build did indeed crash, but for quite a few minutes.
Art and sound effects were great as well. Nice job
And now I need to look into Bevy haha
I so desperately wanted to finish this game I tried on multiple browsers but it kept crashing at different parts of the story.
But I almost wonder if that was intentional- forcing a restart, like letting a snowglobe settle before shaking it up again.
Also, as a consequence of restarting multiple times, I was able to try some of the different story choices.
I am sure that in a few hours, the need to finish this game will haunt me and I doubt I will sleep tonight until I figure out how to do so without causing the game to crash.
Well done.
Nice game! I definitely enjoyed trying the different types of weapons. I think this could do well as a controller/twinstick option as well, but the controls with keyboard and mouse were solid.
I didn't realize that I had won until the nice outro animation :)
The points in the comment by NicolasGatien are definitely valid. That being said, I will keep an eye your for your BOSS RUSH jam game!
Last note: Was I supposed to be able to interact with the flying santa head? haha
Nice game! I actually didn't notice any screen dimension issues? (chrome, win10) So, yay haha. Motion feels nice, I like the backwards drift on the player as well as the icebergs and items. Responsive enough to feel like I could just dodge an iceberg as I collected a candy cane, etc.
If you decide to keep working on it, definitely post an updated link! I would definitely play.
Only managed a 98 but I'm pretty sure this will be one I come back to to try to beat my own score lol.
For a first game, really great job. Heck, it would be a good job for a second, third, fifth game. Keep it up! :D
