Really love the art and the gameplay concept!

The level-up system was cool in adding new monsters and candy for the player to grab. I like turn based card/board games, so this was right up my alley. I did have to learn the game through trial and error, as there were no instructions in the game. I initially thought it was a match-3 style game haha.

My only real critique game play wise is that it didn’t feel there was enough risk to the player. It might be nice to have a bomb style card, that if it doesn’t get solved in X amount of turns, it blows up damaging the player. Just any sort of effect to keep the player on their toes or to pay attention to the configuration of monster cards on the board.

In any case, I had a lot of fun, awesome job!

I planned on doing a tutorial page at the start of the game that explained the basics, but I still had too many bugs on the deadline so I had to leave them to be figured out.

When i first finished a playable verion of the game I realized it was just not fun, and part of that is that it could be easily played around just clicking on a random card in the top. Thats when i came up with the mummy effect (if you didnt realize, right click on a card shows its effect) which forces the player to play around its effect. I originally made a list of around twelve card ideas but then i realized most of them didnt provide too much gameplay.

Ah, I didn’t even realize the effects. That makes sense why some of the candy pieces were getting munched up!

If you decide to continue work on this (which I think is worth it!), adding a little dialog pop up explaining the pieces the first time you see them or instructions would be great!

I'll may try to give it a few updates after the voting (maybe up to lv.20) so a main menu  and a tutorial are definitively a must. For now i added some description in the games page, hope that makes it clear for others.

The gameplay design is an especially nice concept.

Gameplay was smooth and enjoyable.  I like the 'clean sweep' bonus and the distribution of the cards seemed balanced.   Nice work!
