Did you learn anything new during the jam?
I learned how to use Tile Sets and that they aren't what I needed for the game. A lot of firsts for me besides learning about how to use Tile Sets. I also learned a lot more about how to use fonts correctly in a game (I can't believe it took me this long). I used custom masking on sprites for the first time. Used custom cursors for the first time. I added object shake for the first time (JUICE!). Included an in game settings menu instead of just having it on the title screen for the first time. Got a game that works on mobile web for the first time! I learned to limit the use pure white or black. I have never used so many art assets in a game before! Thanks spacey!!! This game owes it's amazing beautiful existence to spacey. Spacey says, "I learned SO many animal facts."

Aren't you awesome for creating a game?

So cute, so much to learn, I had a blast discovering everything<3

The art and UI/UX is fantastic!
Here was my suggestions if you guys were to work on it more (but I think thebooksnail said you guys won't, even though everyone agrees you should!)
-Trophy/Badge on region select menu so you know if you have cleared everything. Maybe even just the beginner/pro/expert text
-line segments on the disturbance bar so its clearer how many moves you have left
-When you earn multiple new entries, it would be cool if you could click on the animal/bug to go directly to it's journal page
-This one wasn't my idea, but being able to hover over certain words for the definition (and maybe a picture too!) would be so dope! I kept using the google to learn unfamiliar words haha

Keep up the good work, this was amazing!

I am a FAN of this game and ALL of its beautifully illustrated inhabitants! The game play is rather limited, however - this game is not about the pure gameplay. Its about the animals you meet along the way. Really nice mood; educational too!

Bonus awards if there's a DLC for a trivia game based on the facts in the journal.

the digging mechanic reminded me and stream of the digging in the underground in sinnoh. this game definitely has a shot at being a cool learning game

This was just positively delightful.  Such a peaceful and serene experience, while also being educational!  I could almost see kids playing something like this in the classroom to learn more about the critters in their environments. :)

I also reeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaallly think this game would be right at home on a tablet!  Getting "Expert" on all of the animals is a bit of an effort to do in one sitting, but if I could pop this open every now and then and spot a few critters here and there while I'm on the bus or something, I think that would make for a perfect experience.

Very very very very nice job here!!

I explored areas, from unknown shapes to recognizing just by a tile. My love for milk snakes is now real thanks to this game.
