Awww, itch page IS messed up. :(  Ususally adding the tag puts it there automatically.  Thanks for the head's up!

This was just positively delightful.  Such a peaceful and serene experience, while also being educational!  I could almost see kids playing something like this in the classroom to learn more about the critters in their environments. :)

I also reeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaallly think this game would be right at home on a tablet!  Getting "Expert" on all of the animals is a bit of an effort to do in one sitting, but if I could pop this open every now and then and spot a few critters here and there while I'm on the bus or something, I think that would make for a perfect experience.

Very very very very nice job here!!

This was so lovely, man.  I am both enamored by how relaxing and fun it is to cross-breed/discover new flowers and impressed at what you were able to accomplish technically by implementing a hereditary/gene system.  Super cool all-around!

You had me sweatin' near the end there.  From my experience, the most valuable resource in the game was actually real estate, as I feel like you can very easily bone yourself if you don't think ahead about where you want to put your stations.

I do feel like the game could have benefited from having some error messages that pop up to let the player know why that can't build certain structures in certain places.  I had to rely on trial and error in order to figure out where water pumps and mineral/ore excavators were able to be placed.

Otherwise though, I really enjoyed the relaxed nature of this one, and even though there was a time limit, it allowed me to think and plan as much as I wanted to before time progressed.  The UI for the resources was also very succinct and easy to understand, which made keeping track of my growing base a breeze.  Awesome job with this one!

Holy moley, that's a lotta 'mons! O.o

This was a neat little adventure, and I think the thing that really seals the deal for me is the Pokedex-like entries for each of the little creatures.  Personally, that was a HUGE incentive for me to catch new 'mons even though I was already satisfied with my party.

I do kinda wish the gameplay evolved a bit more as it went on (I played it for quite a bit and found that I didn't have to change my strategy all that much), but I still find it absurd how much content and depth you were able to pack into a week!

Hi Brandon!  Weird, the "Add Ludum Dare submission page" option on itch's dashboard must not be working... You can find our LD page here! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/dude-ranch

Thanks for playing!  We're so glad you liked it. :)

All of my projects are free, but I'd like to help contribute to the numbers.  Thank you for doing this!

That was absolutely an error on our part, nice catch!

Unfortunately our team didn't have the time during the LD weekend to do extensive field research. ;)  So it looks like we'll have to deal with that error forever in Knit Worth lore.

Thanks for playing!
