Briefly explain your games interpretation of the theme?
Super long time ago back in like 2008 or 2009 I made a simple click & drag game in Flash where you switched hairstyles on a girl. Wow, that is nostalgic! But that was a very long time ago and Flash does not exist anymore... right? idk...

I did not plan to participate in this game jam. Just show support and hang out. But then I had this idea that I wanted to remake that game but with a rat changing hats. And that the rat would have to wear the correct hat to a specific type of party. For example wear a party hat to a birthday party or a top hat for a fancy party. I quickly realise it was too ambitious to make such a game for someone with zero experience in game development. So I had to go with what I could create from following a step-by-step game making tutorial.

How much CODE (text or visual) did you make?

None

You didn't code the logic of the game - you used existing framework and tweaked values.

How much of the game's ART did you make?

All

You created all of the art assets seen in game (not with AI)

How much of the game's SOUND effects did you make?

None

You didn't create any sound effects - you used existing audio for your game

How much of the game's MUSIC did you make?

None

You didn't create any music - you used existing music tracks for your game

Other comments (Code / Art / Sound / Audio)
To make this game I started watching youtube tutorials and decided to follow along in Dani Krossings tutorial playlist "Create a 2D game in Unity" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewiw2tcfen8&list=PL0eyrZgxdwhxL5n_wJsnpI4Y9AFIFhhF8)

I have copied whatever code Dani wrote in his tutorial and I have made some small adjustments to fit my own game for example the jumping speed/height. I also copied his code for animating the little hearts.

I have drawn everything in the game myself. Everything is new except for the rat and the little hearts which I have made before for my Twitch stream.

Aren't you awesome for being creative and taking part?

Yes

10/10 would wear a h(e)a(r)t again.

The head and tail movement on walk animation is very good! Very useful for there to be movement with WASD and arrow keys, something many jam games don't have.

Art is obviously A++

Something I would have liked to have on a simple game like this is a quick restart key.
