  • Well clearly gonna die if Meteors ever come down on Earth. Nice!

How did you use Houdini to make your game?
City and level generation

List everything that was made before the jam. Pre-built, assets, textures, etc
Some pre-made assets downloaded from a city generation example project from Simon V.

Which game engine or platform did you use to make your game?
Unreal Engine 5

Besides Houdini, what other tools did you use to make your game?
As of right now: just Unreal Engine 5 and Houdini, but will hopefully do some modeling in Blender, and make some music in Ableton Live if I have time.

Might use some Unreal plugins as well.

List instructions and tips for playing your game here.
Everything will be on the project page.

Some screenshots from my Houdini file trying out different tutorials for city generation inspiration (I'm a Houdini newb)

Current implementation adapted from following the excellent https://www.sidefx.com/tutorials/city-building-with-osm-data/ tutorial

Install Instructions and other details will be posted on https://malkomalko.itch.io/houdini-game-jam-2022-escape. Early build to make sure everything worked as per your advice (this is my first published game and game jam!).

Pushing ideally more builds before the deadline to see how far I can get. Been a fun trip :D
