Imagine if this Game Jam is the last relic of an extinct humanity

Honestly, think of it. This game jam is almost lovecraftian in length! By the time it finishes, not only all of us will be dead, but also our children, and their children, and their children. This jam will outlive generations of people, a significant chunk of history will occur in parallel to this jam. Wars will be waged, the earth will either heat up or cool down, the terrain will change. Everything will change, apart from this.

With every unlucky soldier dead or new global turning point reached, this jam will continue. With every new historical figure's birth and death this jam will go on. With every pandemic we may face this jam will keep going, the laughably distant deadline creeping ever closer. This jam may outlive many corporations and entities far beyond our power.

Who will submit their games in time for such a transcendent competition? Who will not?

Who will see this jam end?

bro the earth- i mean the entire universe would probably be gone and this jam would still be going frfr
