Really lovely maps and character sprites. Great OG Resident Evil vibe. Nice detailing in the visuals, none of that went unnoticed. I would've liked more flavour text from inspecting areas/objects - making me feel like I could explore just a bit more and get more invested in the world :) I can see a lotta potential, for sure.

I like the use of the assets -- they really fit this sort of game well. The mechanics work well and you've told a complete, concise story. Nice work and good luck! :)

Great use of the tileset and assets. Really creates the zombie apocalypse atmosphere.  Interesting choice on how combat works, where it really depends on the amount of ammo you have and spam shoot rather than having the agency to run around / escape etc. So in the end it is more of an adventue game!

The tilesets are great, there's no mismatch here and there and capture the feeling of post apocalyptical zombie thingy. I love how you make sure the player get enough ammo to plow through the final zombie.

Also I didn't see the function of health when you just die when Zombie touches you. Yes steams kinda reduce your health but I think there's no penalty of going through without full health. Maybe if the development took time to refine the mechanics and submit it later, those other feature can give some point/ meaning.

I streamed and finished the game, but it left me feeling a bit flat.

I feel like it's very to the point, and gets there, but the point itself isn't very appealing? Like it needed some more immersive moments (such as investigating the environment). There was no good "hook", and I could not get attached to the characters or gameplay since they were so brief and basic.

It's too short  for me to say much. I understand it was probably done in a very short timeframe, so that might explain it? I'm sorry I really don't know how to feel about this one.  The one thing I did like was the mapping, which was pretty solid, aside from some collision issues. It was a pity I could not inspect stuff closely and explore.

Also not sure if that's just how it is, but I did not find any way to get past the steam in the basement.
