Great idea and nice style. It's a real struggle being able to figure out where to go with this mechanic. Yes it reflects and shows you crevices but it's kind of difficult to work with still.
The concept is interesting but I think the game is a little bit too difficult I can't pass the dark path right after tutorial. Or I am just too bad at your game.

It's cool and I like the simple 3D graphics, but I would say that it seems a bit "too dark", I know it's the basis for the gameplay, but it's a bit frustrating seeing so little and feeling so lost. (manageable, but feels a little bit irritating) Maybe the rays could emit a bit of light around them or something, so that you could see a bit better your environment ? Also, when you spam the laser, it becomes quickly very bad for FPS after like 20-30 shootings
