ooo thats a lot for a game jam..This is my first game jam game and I barely finished and submitted it.So its not meant to be perfect. Now im starting new project and working on it.

We are not all seeking the same kind of review in this kind of Jam, the wish of the developer to "improve the game" can be the strong. Me, I really in the full polishing phase of the Game and i am in the phase where having the players feeling or advices can be very useful especially the "too honest" reviews. Even if i will certainly make choices that are in adequation with my tastes and my vision of the game.

It's maybe why he/her can seems a little too harsh.

I will retry your game later i only made a quick test: I really like the ideas and the concepts and the graphisms especially the kind of god power when you can move and through objects (good implementation). As beginner developer Pathfinding is not the easiest thing to set up, I struggle too (In a none published game yet but published really soon). Your prototype have the essential we can see what you want to do and it seems cool. As I said i will give it a retry, i probably missed something.

THANK YOU jack,  all what you said is true. But let me ask a question... if after a playtest the player says to change a big concept which balances the game...will you change it?

I do first a game that please me.
In reviews, i pick an idea or two  that i liked. An addition of reviews can be good , for example in my game one player didn't know how to start the game it was to confusing, with the other player reviews i understood what to change (discord can be good for that : with just a picture of my menu i had a lot of good advice, or a list of things they misunderstood ).

I finally choose to keep the idea of the shield to simulate the invincibility frame (it was to arcade for my tastes an invincibility shield and i thought that the invincibility frame was too short to  really  need an illustration)  .But the players thought that the flying car had a bug that permitted it to go through several buildings without additional damages. Finally, i used the 2 lines of codes that i kept to add the shield, to make the invincibility frame visible.

If a concept is too big i can do different mode for the game or an all new game. Are you asking if i could change something that could break the game to please the player ? However i don't use all the code i write to do a game, i can have tried some concepts that are not in the game, especially for a Jam. Some concepts can be almost implemented.

The more important is that it can exist a difference between what i attempted to created and the player feeling. But only one review is sometime not enough.

I tried your game one more time. Very promising. However, i don't know how your pathfinding (character trajectory) works. If your pathfinding have limitation you should give indications at the screen like lines to show the trajectory or a circle to show maximum distance for clicking.Or at least explanation of the limitations with one or two lines of text.

well,  I will fix camera movement but not the player movement bcz thats what makes the game balance. Otherwise the players could easily spam the left mouse button to reach the end.
