AI Generated Artwork?

Hi, my first ever composing jam, hoping to wrap up my piece in the next few days when I get the time to spare! I was just wondering if it is okay to use AI generated artwork? It's what I tend to do when I upload a little idea/sketch so was going to do the same if it's allowed. Or should I use the painting as artwork?

This will be my first proper full length composition that I've committed to (I'm still pretty new to composing/producing just as a hobby but have always had music in my head haha) so I'm super excited to share. Great entries so far! Thanks 😊

I'm not actively removing submissions that utilize AI art, but I do prefer that it is avoided when possible. Technically the wording does say "do not use AI in any part of your submission," but I'm focusing on music for the most part with that. Not everything is easily enforceable in that context either; more or less, we just try to follow the honor system - this is a competition about skill, fundamentally, so shortcuts really only prevent your own personal development in the context of using AI to do things like postprocessing.

I understand that time is limited, but I find the best way to get votes is to just vote on other peoples' entries as well, which is ultimately also a great part of development.

No AI being used whatsoever for the music (would defeat the entire point!), it was literally just the artwork I wondered about. I'm no artist/graphic designer 😄

Thanks for the tips, look forward to participating.
