I like the idea of a WW1 strategy game, and I like the idea of the various game types. The skirmish mode was a bit of a mess visually but kinda neat seeing the units fight it out. In the original and king of the hill modes however, the german side never left their trench or attacked, so it was pretty much just a waiting game.

I also noticed how soldiers could sometimes appear over top of UI elements and buttons to spawn troops.

And I appreciate the small how to play menu as well, always nice to have some form of tutorial or hint system.

Overall there's still quite a bit of jank happening with the AI, and there frankly didn't seem to be much actual strategy involved. It still needs a fair bit of work, but having had to deal with no shortage of AI issues myself, you have my sympathy.
