I did really like the vibe of this demake! Pretty cool version with exploring to do and nice ambient to navigate.

I had some issues when throwing the pikmin and the game suffer from some fps drop for 2 second.

I would have loved a counter to know how many pikmin I have on the screen.

Other then that pretty cool!

Thanks! I'll work on it right away!

Neat Demake!

  • Overall: The game is a cool homage with a twist!
  • Fun: The opening is super fun! I got stuck in the first menu and then reset it and it let me get through the 2nd time.
  • Visuals (Graphics): Very nice and clean pixel art!
  • User Interface: Very retro and good!
  • Audio: The SFXs peak in my headphones a lot, other than that they are retro cool!

Keep it up~ perhaps create your own IP with similar mechanics~ please check out my game when you can :D

An interesting demake idea. It has some notable issues with conveying the number of pikmin you have access to. It also has some fairly major bugs with the onion interface. I softlocked the game by opening the onion's menu and attempting to take out pikmin when I already had all of them. The game then returned to the overworld with zero pikmin available and I had to restart.

Okay! Thank you! I actually had no clue that you could access the Onion's menu in that build 😅 I'll work on it ASAP.
Also, I have a counter for Pikmin in the works, so don't worry! It should be released next update!

A good demake is always enjoyable, and I thought this one was pretty fun!  I had a little trouble navigating the world, at times I struggled to determine which grounds/textures I was able to walk on and which ones indicated walls or obstacles.  I played the browser version and I had some trouble with the Pikmin that was supposed to follow me.  After moving the box he was stuck at the bottom of the screen in the next area (where you find the engine) and when returning to the first area he just sort of wandered off to the south and disappeared lol.  I got a little stuck in the engine area anyway so that was as far as I made it.  I do love the pixel art style and you can instantly recognize it as a pikmin game, so visually I feel like it's working well.
