Is buying uranium supposed to just give a black screen?
As others have said it's fun and interesting how the different mechanics work. But the chemical reactions forcing you to buy one element at a time is annoying. I only used it a few times. Especially once I got the last primary atom and just idled to victory.
Also the star cost feels like there is a bug somewhere. It was giving me a lot of stars even when it said the next one was orders of magnitude more than my current photons.
Genesis is a decent game. The beginning is fun enough but remains rather annoying in the fact that you have to constantly keep space pressed to be making real progress. This isn't really helped by having to also hold enter in a number of places to properly buy things. The game gets decent when you hit stars and good even by the time you can let go of space, but the Reactor has it's own issues that made me use it as sparingly as possible. The Reactor also could've benefited from being able to choose how much to make instead of forcing you to use all of your oxygen in one go. Overall it was a fine, original experience.
i would say the exact opposite. the game was very fun for me all the way through until i unlocked stars, then i just stopped playing
Game broken after 20M prestige resources
he was never bouncin
Love how nutty the endgame looks :)
The chemistry system certainly slowed me down and made me think a bit. Like others said, the clicking is quit tough to do a ton of so I only engaged with this part minimally to get by., but the mechanic was fairly unique - buffs based on the components you throw into the furnace.
I'm not too sure if I reached the end but I think I got pretty far. It's fun to click back to your previous layers and see how they've changed. Overall I think you could get more mileage out of systems like the reactor stuff, just to get the player to stop and smell the roses for a bit.
Very good balance until lategame which feels like carpal tunnel simulator, overall very fun!
