awake enough to notice the subtle differences of my second run, the world gained depth despite me not clearly seeing that far in the distance. i had to look up a magpie and the image instantly refreshed my imagining of my journey to the end. pseudo-crows... i couldn't help but be wary of what they represented despite not figuring it out. i love the recognition of the NPCs in the statue.

i really loved this!! the way synchronicities appear--or don't--the cycles and cyclical-feeling nature of the world, the prose itself, the mystery, the ambiance are all really spectacular! it really spoke to me.

Gotta say, T.S. Eliot always gives me chills. Have you heard him reading the poem? When the line "Come in under the shadow of this red rock" I definitely heard his voice. Needless to say I really enjoyed this! Short, poignant vignettes form a cohesive tone/feeling. Well done!
