I absolutely loved this game. I am very fond of retro pixel games and this one nailed it!!! Good job! Controls were very responsive and smooth, art was amazing, music and SFX were really well chosen. Big thumbs up!

Developer

Thanks again :)

Very nice! Camera was nice and smooth and character controlled well. Rocks were thrown (that's the most important part) and ungas were bunga'd.

Thanks :)

Excellent art and music! It seems very well done!  I love all the hit flashes and how the enemy flips upside down when killed. I also was stuck at the tiles when respawning.

Thanks! Music is "Whimsy Groove" from Kevin MacLeod so props to him. There is few bugs i had to ship with unfortunately.

I loved everything about the game. The gameplay was smooth and not hard to get a hang of, the art was spot on and I really liked the music... I did encounter a bug though. I died and when the player respawned, I was stuck and couldn't move. But overall, it was a great game!

Thanks! Yeah I couldn't figure out that issue in time. And music is "Whimsy Groove" from Kevin Macleod so props to him.

Brilliant,

Big Hunter-Gatherer energy throughout.

Nice colourful foreground visuals and a pretty parallax background that doesn't distract from the foreground.

Overall it seems really polished for a gamejam and has an absolute minimum of jank. I've not really got anything to complain about, one of my favourites so far.

Bonus points for UngaBunga and throwing big rocks.

Thanks!

Great game! Feels very much like an arcade game and I like that. It's great  how you were able to reuse the first level for multiple purposes. The bright art style is awesome! Level design is great! I had one issue with platforming if you jump on a block at an angle to hit it's corner you get stuck for a second. Small issue but not much of a problem, it never got in the way. I like how this entry encourages exploration and scavenging.

Thanks! Yeah there is few bugs i couldn't find time to fix.

I really like how you managed to make the most out of a single level, this game has a lot of potential.

Thanks! I don't have any plans to expand this game though
