Hello, i would like to participate in jam and code my game in GW-BASIC. GW can be run with emulators such as PC-BASIC or dosbox(-x) with gwbasic.exe OR it can be compiled with qb64 to a Linux/windows/mac executable (QB64 is compatible with GW in most cases). Would that be okay?

Host

Hello,

Sure. Of course you can use whatever BASIC dialect to develop your entry.  Welcome. My suggestion: you compile the source code of your entry with QB64 to Linux, Windows or/and Mac executable(s) after you finish developing the entry. This method should be the most convenient method for voters and gamers because they can play your game without using emulator.

Good luck.
