Hobbyists liked to create games in BASIC many years ago........

Nowadays most hobbyists use drag-and-drop tools to create games. Drag-and-drop tools for game development are so popular.  For example, Construct 3, GameMaker, Fusion, etc. I think that the game jam for BASIC dialects is a nice contest. The game jam will show to the public what hobbyist developers can create with modern BASIC dialects within a month. Perhaps the game jam will encourage some other hobbyist developers to use BASIC dialects to develop games later. This game jam looks really interesting.
