This is a good start to a concept. Most of the time I wished I could go behind trees, and I felt that the fire spat out the items a little randomly (location wise). I'm not sure why but my game would slow down whenever I was near the cabins.

It was neat that trees would grow back after awhile so you have access to wood all the time. That said and knowing how to exploit mechanics, I managed to get outside the map with the tree at the top right that's one space away from the wall. All I did was stand where I knew where part of the tree would grow back, let it grow back and pressed down. It shot me outside the map (XD) It also works with the tree near the second cabin to the left.

Good job for what you have now, I'd definitely would like to see where this game is going (^w^)

xD Thank you so much! That sounds hilarious ^_^' it will have to be fixed, though.

I was actually thinking the same thing about going behind trees, as well as making it so the top half of the character doesn't collide. I'm still working on it right now. Doing this Game Jam was a lot of fun because it forced me not to focus so much on the small details like how pretty my code was, and focus on learning more game mechanics.
