As previously said, the art is really nice pixel art, and it's quite stressful when you're trying to put out the fire while the bar is mostly fire.

While I get that everyone interprets the theme/special feature (and I won't take points away), I thought the "totally normal water" would raise some suspicion.

Out of all the games on the Jame Gam Game Jam, I think Firefighter will deliver the hardest punch to players. Its soft colors, restful music, and straight-forward fire plot all embedded themselves in my soul when I first played the game, and I doubt I'm alone. Hearing the music on the title screen still whisks me back to give me whiplash.

Everyone has their comfort games they retreat to when they've had a hard day at work, and need an electronic blankie. Firefighter is one of mine. I've played this game more times than I can count, which makes it possible for me to appreciate every nook and nuance.

I love the art and the idea of a firefighter but I wish there was some sound even if its just a single music track but that's ok. The theme implementation and special feature are perfectly done but there is no element of story (Would have been cool to have an introduction scene). Has potential to be even better with more levels. The controls are responsive and easily understandable and I can imagine having lots of fun on this game.

Great pixel art. what was the art resolution and the screen or the display which contained it.

The screen size was 320 x 180 I believe. Most of the sprites were somewhere around 16x16 but I didn't limit myself to resolutions
