Fun little game, doesn't really fit the theme unfortunately. Fun game though, great work!
The mechanics are cool and the game is enjoyable, but I would suggest adding some more of the Christmas theme besides the box character. A good game that feels more finished than most jam games!

my cursor does not show up when playing
Indeed, since the game only uses Space and WASD/arrow keys the cursor is not especially needed.
But thank you for your input, I might make that change to improve accessibility after the jam.
