There’s a lot to like here. The cutscene was awesome lol. I wish I could dictate when the text changes, I had to be on my toes to read it, but that was a great start to a great game. I loved the visuals and the audio, and I love platformers generally lol. This was nicely put together, the level felt just the right size too. I wasn’t a complete fan of the controls for double jumping, and I felt as if moves could have been unlocked at different parts. That said, how you handled the tutorials were excellent.

Really, really impressed.

I have to say since I joined in Jammin 2020, this has to be the most polished game ive seen, the art style and music composition are good, the mechanics however are somewhat clunky, the movement is somewhat hard to control when trying to make really accurate long jumps not to mention a bug I found when jumping up walls.

(forget Kerbal Space Program, just run up a wall for long enough and youd hit Pluto in no time)

and lastly the health system, I honestly hate having to start over (in a sense) from grazing a spike

I can see how some aspects can be fixed while not changing the experience completely.

>After maybe 2 parts the health value can be increased so you wont have to "restart" so often

>Similarly add a new attack (one that doesnt only do horizontal)

>Add a skip button to the opening cutscene

Otherwise its a good game

Wow, what an incredible game. Opening onto a cutscene blew my mind. The controls are super tight, the platforming felt really fun and the right kind of challenging, stuff like using the dash to navigate the gap between the spikes and so on were executed really well. Just...absolutely incredible showing, and doing this in a week is pretty amazing. Literally the only problem I encountered is I got locked in the room after beating Gordo.

Super cool game! I'm really impressed that you managed to get a very polished cutscene into the game in the time limit! I found that the text occasionally changed a bit too fast, and I would have loved to be able to control when it changed. I also felt that there were a bit too many mechanics introduced too quickly - maybe just one attack would have been enough. Other than that, absolutely fantastic! I'm really really impressed by this game!
