Unlike others, I think the jumping was alright except that you didnt have a tolerance for jumping near the edge. However, I hated the tiny platforms. WHY? You are trying to sell the idea that this is a dream and things are behaving weirdly, but then all of that illusion is broken when I have to redo a jump over and over again in order to land on a tiny platform. I noticed that I can wall jump tho, is that intended? I cannot make the jump in the 3rd scene and dropped down the pit while I can see that there were more stuff on the right, did I miss something? (I replayed the game but still cant make it). Overall, a good attempt at a platformer, it needs clearer goals and a lot of tweaking with the level design.

Jump needs tweaking cause feels weird sometimes. Like in a dream you never actually die so the game is holding on that concept but since it's my second game i have no idea how to sell a good background story yet :/ about 3rd scene if you wait 15 seconds the above plataform comes down. I will continue this game from scratch some day tweaking the bad stuff and make it right, really appreciate your comment c:

Like I said, its a good attempt. There is so much in making a platforming game that it will take long to nail everything. Just keep building more on top of what you have had so far. From now you could try with changing jump height when hold down button, adding momentum, tweaking fall gravity etc. I like your attitude, keep it up man!

As others have said I don't think jumping felt right. The transitions seemed a bit strange to me as well. However, the music, sound effects, and atmosphere were on point. I would love to see more of this!

Nice little game, the only thing I noticed:

  • Sometimes the character doesn't jump when I'm on the tiny platforms
  • If I touch the wall I can jump forever

Other than that I liked the game, the graphics are simplistic and the music & sounds are nice, well done :D

jumping is not as responsive as it should be, but game feel and athmosphere is +++ :D

Really nice music and effects, I can sense some kind of personality on the character

Amazing music, and good sound effects, nice level design too, but to short.
