Game is fun and the art looks good. but then the controls are weird you got the mouse for the direction as well A, D so most of the time the character didn't know winch one to follow. also I got only a set of ammo. no ammo game over also the game over is buged and cause the game to crash.

what I do like is the set of guns you have  and a type of simple survival game is something.

Thank you so much for the response and the review!!

The controls are definitely clunky with mouse and keyboard, but is better with a 360 controller. I plan to fix that when I finish the game up.

There shouldn't be a game over yet, so I will look into what caused your crash. What exactly happened that caused it?

Thank you again fir the kind words :) I'm glad you enjoyed my game and the gun set in it! I plan to add another weapon or two when I finish it too, as well as power ups (including ammo drops).

with the crash my player died on his last health and then the game just crash. sorry I don't have more information for you. but maybe you can look into his death function see if something is off.

I never added the death function yet, so it must be something to do with the health bar system. Thanks for the info :)

I also struggled with the movement controls, and basically never felt a need to use the "circle strafe" maneuvers on "a" and "d". The aliens also seem pretty bugged. They all just cluster around the middle and nothing happens. The game just seems to end when you run out of ammo, and it looks like there's no way to get more.

Sorry about the clunky controls, they are more intuitive on the 360 controller. I should've used the cardinal directions for the wasd movement (and not just the controller movement as it is now).

And thank you so much for the comment and the review though :) The game is currently unfinished so you can't die or lose yet, nor can you get score. When Zombies reach the middle they will kill a survivor in the cave and you will lose one life. Ammo drops are going to be power-ups that you find as the time goes by, and when you are out of lives and then die you will lose.

I plan on adding these features to finish up the game sometime either this week or next. Thanks again for the comment :)

I love zombie defense games. The art was unique, but the movement controls were a bit hard for me to get used to at first.

I gave it another shot with a controller and it felt a lot easier to move the character around. Perhaps a settings selection for different control schemes would help, one preset for keyboard and one for controller.
