What INSPIRED this game?
California's hot weather. At the time of the theme announcement, I was sweating like a pig because of the heat here.

I did not make any of the audio.

It's the Dark Souls of Gamejams, 5/5 -IGN
I'll take that as a compliment haha. Thanks for playing.
it's time to kick some ass and chew some bubble gum, and I am all out of gum.
Hell yeah!
Very cool game, I sorta wish there was a bit more feedback when I hit an enemy or their projectiles. Beyond that I found it really fun. Good job on this.
Yeah the game suffers a little from a lack of audio / visual feedback. It really taught me that audio and effects can be way more important than I originally thought, and it shouldn't be done last minute. Thanks for the feedback!
Just finished kicking some demon ace. This game is sweet. This really sets an example of how to tune a game to get the most out of its content. I noticed some of the other games struggle to have enough content or feel wrong in pacing. But this one feels great, and because of the pace of gameplay, you're really able to fit a substantial experience into just a few really small, simple levels. I had a fun time, and the humor was spot on.
I appreciate the feedback! I think some of the levels could use some balance changes to help with the pace, but it's good to hear there was enough game to play in the end.
I really liked this, there were some glitches and it definetely wasn't hard at all! It was really good for a game made in two days and I thought the title and concept were hilarious!
It's a little hard, I know haha. The levels were being put together as I was playing it over the weekend, so I got pretty good at the game and I completely forgot that to a new player the balance of the levels could be way too hard. Lesson learned for the future. I am glad you appreciate the little amount of humor I was able to slip into it.
Linux build?
I plan on converting the game to WebGL and doing more ports to other OS once the JimJam voting is over and I can edit the game. Sorry about that!
