Nice animations on those static assets. Smooth controls. The signposts were very helpful.
Good idea with the campfires. It would be quite challenging to beat it in a single run, but you didn't punish me for dying (repeatedly), so I kept going until I finished it.

Fun atmosphere, made the absence of music not noticeable. The attacking felt juicy and the campfire checkpoints made dying much less frustrating. The signs helped a lot with knowing what I needed to do. only thing is I got a bit lost on finding the yellow door key but that might just be me being dumb as wall destroying was taught before hand lol. overall I enjoyed it. Was happy to get revenge on that damned cursed purple gemstone :P
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the game! For some reason I really wanted to hide the path forward behind destructible walls, so it's ok if you got lost for a bit. I really tried to prepare the players for that in the opening area!
I couldnt get past 'press H'
Such a shame because the screenshots look awesome
That's a shame indeed... but uh, the game never tells you to press H! At the beginning of the game, it says to press X, which is the attack button! But since the game uses a pixel font, I can see how one can mistake an "H" for a "X" haha
This was enjoyable to play. The animations work great with the art assets and the weather effects set the mood. Finding hidden passages felt rewarding. The campfire checkpoint system was clever and fun.
