Sadness we can't play the exe (I tried and yeah, it's missing a file :().
So I anyway played the web version, I was wondering what was the point too, until I actually get my final planet.
Like, it felt like a complete experience, surely not a game I'll play for hours, but, just you know, a complete game jam game that is its own experience.
So yeah, well done!
Thank you for the feedback! I'm really glad it felt complete, as once we got down to the last few hours of working on it that was our main goal. Appreciate you going out of your way for the web version!
Its very satisfying to see your planet grow! There's not much game, but what is there is very fun. Add tighter turning controls, a score, a timer to show how long you have, and some sort of danger or way to extend your time and it could be very addicting to chase a highscore! I love the idea of collecting different elements to change what planet is created by the end. Has some good potential!
Thanks so much for giving it a shot! As soon as we got the materials orbiting as you collect them, we knew it had legs, but getting to the "game" part was definitely a big struggle. Maybe we'll pick it back up and add some more to it!
Couldn't get the download working. Said it couldn't locate the executable
Dang, I must have done something wrong. Thanks for trying to play it anyway! I'll see if I can fix it.
All good! Let me know if you get the download working :)
I'm not able to change the download for the jam, so I uploaded the HTML5 version here: https://twchapman.itch.io/planetary-spark-html5
Keep your expectations low though, there's really not much to it!
