Love the project, I enjoy it, but I don't see any connections with the theme. However, the game feels that it was made by pros.
The connection with time is that each soul has 20second timer before fading out. the purpose of the game is to force the player to test different playstyles with the different souls.
But yeah overall we know that we don't have a huge connection with the theme.

That spongy effects on walking gives nice feeling to it. Gameplay gets hard towards end. Well executed project.
