Idk, I am too lazy

I begin my review by stating, how refreshing it is to see a nice, minimalist gif game cover. So many submissions have chosen a mundane, static game cover. 

Upon launching the game I am greeted immediately by gameplay. Instant gratification. Robust controls lay on the starboard bow, letting me know immediately how to play.

As a small cupcake, one would think you wouldn't move very fast, but you glide! I see I have been well greased. The gameplay is reminiscent of the sonic games, as you reach uncontrollable speeds and run into walls that could not possibly be predicted. A red wall of death chases you, clearly inspired by the PUBG wall of death, a nice nod to a classic.

The music is a nice touch, letting you really FEEL like a cupcake.

However the lack of a save system is a bit of a detriment. My highscore was 21 but it didn't remember :( This did not affect my enjoyment of the game but I cannot brag now. Hmmpf.

And while a cupcake does indeed have the word in it, it tries too hard to be more than cake. I cannot in good conscience award full marks for the theme.

I would like to have seen more. Yes, I have never seen a cupcake nyoom around like a crack addled man chasing money, but more verticality would be a breath of fresh air.

I await the next fresh game out of the oven patiently.
