Which die/dice is at the core of the game?
The game runs on a system I made with a friend called the Cutting Edge engine, which separates degree of success on the action from the chances of something going wrong. When you roll, the DM tells you how risky it is and this informs the size of the RISK POOL. Low-risk actions are 2d4, extremely risky actions are 4d4. If you get a match in your risk pool, something bad happens. It doesn’t even have to be directly connected to anything you did, something bad just Happens. There’s a little more to the resolution system of course but you’re rolling at least 2d4 constantly, so I think this jam is a great fit!

The layout is great. It seems like a good system for horror. The resolution system took me a little bit to parse, but I'd be curious to try and see how quickly it works.

Oh hey, thanks!! Yeah, the resolution system can be sticky at first but it's surprisingly easy to read after you've given it a couple spins.
