This is a great solo game! I just finished my playthrough and the vibes throughout were full of mystery and spookiness. There were a handful of moments in the game that really surprised me and I had no idea what was going to happen until I reached the end. Highly recommend

From what I could tell, I think you got the majority of the rules correct while playing. One thing I noticed: during the Cast phase, you only add cards to the Guard hands when their total is below 17. And you never have to add a card to your own hand during the Cast phase.
