Simple, well made game! I included it in my LibGDX Jam compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :)

I really liked how peaceful it felt floating through space, I was very pleased just to get home let alone collecting space gems.

Good work, How did you find overlap2d? this is the first time I have used it.

Very nice game idea with fine graphics and animations!

Today I learned that I am totally screwed if I ever fall into space.

It's a cool idea but the guys rotation keeps slowing down so I'm left drifting until I hit a wall and can boost in a different direction, by which time I've lost track of where I need to go, maybe allow him to redirect the air nozzle to affect the rotation?

Nice idea of returning to the starting point, it is hard and even strategic (improve the score and get back). The character animation is very cool, well done!

My best score so far 104: Score

Hi CarniBlood,

Thanks for your reply :) Yes - I agree. The text is shown to give the game the time to move the player away from the platform before the game really starts. When first I did not have that delay you could get back to your ship in seconds. I could have let the count down timer start only once the text stops. But still that is not a very nice solution - as reading this text again will get boring quickly.

I also think you need a bit more oxigen in your tank to be able to steer the player. But that would be just a case of tweeking the game play.

The concept is nice, but someway the game will not allow me to control the character untilall text messages are finished to be shown, and during this time the timer keeps going so it will not leave so much time to do anything.
