Very unique and challenging! I included it in my LibGDX Jam compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :)

This game is tough as nails! Love the pixel art, very well done. Controlls via keyboard are OK, but i think this could benefit from controller support. The "wall glue" mechanic is pretty neat. I like shooting with pizzas :D

Developer

I just uploaded RC3 with an important bug fix that also made the last stage almost unplayable

Thanks a lot for trying the game and the feedback.
@kyperbelt, I also fixed a bug related to collision handling, that should be fixed now, again, thanks for the feedback :)

nice intro music. Addicting game!

This was brutally difficult. I liked the graphics and the sticking to platforms mechanic, but I think the controls maybe need a little bit of tuning.

Developer

Thanks for all the comments :)
@kyperbelt: Thanks a lot for the report, I will check that out, though the code is very bare bones in many places and it's probably asking for a brutal refactoring hah
@mmachida: That's a great idea yes, we have a lot in our minds to do with this, but after playing by ourselves we realized it the potential of making it very challeng based, online would be awesome yes!

i think i found a bug in the slug cave. when getting the blue icecream at the lower left side of the cave i lose the ability to wall climb for ever and then i become stuck.

Submitted

very fun game :)easy to pick up but its hard to master.

"We will make a full game out of this idea and mechanics", please add an online highscore in the full version! this game has the potential to be very competitive for speed runs.

Developer

Cursor keys and playing tips added!

@devilbuddy: Thanks for the comment.

@apricotjam: Wow that's great to hear :D. I agree with you I don't think it's unfair, if it had more easier levels to have a decent learning curve for the player mechanics it wouldn't alienate lots of players..

We will make a full game out of this idea and mechanics after the jam is over, so serioulys I'm very happy for all the feedback. I will continue to check all your entries ;)

Submitted

Please add cursor controls for all us right-handed people :) Otherwise a solid effort! I got a Super Meatboy feeling playing it (good thing)

Submitted

This is a tad challenging. The music is nice. Good job!

Submitted

I managed to beat the first level, so I'm feeling pretty good about that, haha. Fun game though. I don't think the difficulty is unfair, just needs more easy levels for us noobs.

Developer

I added some playing tips on the game page, hope it helps :)

We really appreciate the feedback! It is very valuable.

I found it really tricky, any hints and tips? Learning to wall jump over the deadly water took quite a few attempts. Well done for meeting the deadline 10 minutes before.

Developer

Thanks a lot for the comments guys! (I'm LordCoppetti's partner)

CiderPunk: We only managed to test it ourselves, and the WSAD scheme wasn't really a planned thing - we're thinking of adding cursor keys and joystick support in future versions of the game (or other projects, for that matter).

Submitted

Haha, I like the music and sprites, the gameplay is pretty tricky though. Nice submission! :)

Man, this is hard :P I can't get past the snails
