Sometimes hiking photos are presented as if they are authorless, majestic, "natural", observation of the landscape.  But you've explicitly put yourself in them, with both your art and words, and I like that!The expressiveness and playfulness of your pixel art character in your real photos works really well to capture a sort of childlike clarity of feeling.
