good
Had this for a bit, sat down to play it today. It was...God. I think i hurt my own feelings playing it. Haha.
If you've ever seen Rise of the TMNT, you'll know there are four brothers, in a stairstep kind of aging pattern. They're raised, alone, by their father, Lou Jitsu aka Splinter aka Yoshi Hamato. There's been always a kind of wonder on *how* he did it, and I came up with him just being able, somehow, to get money or food in various ways (mostly selling his old collectibles).
Tonight, I wrote about him finally taking his young children to the store...only to immediately lose them.
Yeah.
They got up to a few antics, broke a mirror, and then they found him bc I kept rolling fives which I'm not complaining, it was just funny lol.
At the end though, I kind of...wrote it sad, I guess. They found him, but they're older, and he talks about how it reminded him of when they were little, and he had gotten away from them for five minutes, but it was enough to send them into tears.
And I dunno, man.
I like good dad Splinter.
This means nothing at all to the game, I guess. But it was fun, to write. I'd been in a funk this week and this really helped break me out of it, and it's simple and easy and I loved it! Let's get lost more, and hope we don't sit in the corner crying, huh? :)
