Did you work in a team?
One member, huuuuge. Just me. Good fun :)

Was the resolution a challenge?
Most problems were technical issues trying to make Pico 8 do what I wanted in mode 3 (64 x 64).

What did you learn?
This was very different to other games I've made. I guess the main difference was the way I queued events.

The game feels too slow, also I’ve gone through levels without needing to even move. The basic mechanic is ok, but i think dificulty/challenge need to be adjusted to meke this an interesting activity for the player. Probably worth putting some extra time on the game and revisit on some things.

Even more than most PICO-8 games this feels like a true old-school homebrew.  The gameplay was a little slow to start but had built up nicely by the end.  The sound and graphics feel right for the game and the whole thing is straightforward to pick up and have fun playing.

This game is simple, yet fun. There were a few rounds I didn't have to move my character to pass, which felt a little strange, but I suppose that's the nature of a randomized attack pattern. Because of this, I was delighted when the lasers started firing faster and multiple started to fire at a time. I feel like there could have been a few more rounds of hectic dodging action. An "endless mode" with a score of how many lasers you've dodged also sounds pretty fun. Just some ideas I had while playing it. There's some potential here.

It has a fun idea, and well executed.  However the laser beams seem too random, by the time I reached level 4 I only had to move my character twice. Maybe if the lasers occasionally target the player so you have to move around a bit.

Fun game! Some pickups and bonus would be fun
