Did you work in a team?
There were two of us. I was the developer/artist and https://uncan.itch.io/ wrote the music. It was a fun experience.

Was the resolution a challenge?
This game is using a lot of minesweeper mechanics which requires a decent amount of visual queues to be playable. Making font and art that fit within 8x8 blocks was difficult.

What did you learn?
I learned about shaders this go around since I originally wanted a vignette but it looked bad with the resolution. I also learned more about implementing sound correctly since there was time to do so

A nice way to give minewsweeper a story… diagonal selection was almost impossible to achieve (maybe I did not get the tutorial info correctly… but had to use DPAD on the gamepad to achieve it every time). Long text in that 3px font was really hard to read/decypher, also having the character moving underneath the text made it worse for readability.

Nice twist to the game, well done! Loved the music

Amazing game! I wish you put the tutorial in the itch page instead of the actual game so it was easier to read but other than that I loved it.

Hey! I made this music for this game. Check out the soundtrack to Sweeper here:

This is a really quite fun, I like how fluid the mining animation is
