Thank you!

Very touching work. Everything felt so delicate and intentional the emotional effect is quite profound.

Thank you for the kind words!

Wonderful orchestration and piano composition! Deeply emotional and  impactful.

Love the delay effect used on some of the piano parts.

Favorite track: 004 Ren (Character Theme)

Thanks for the heads up, link should work now.

Thank you! I wanted to have a higher energy on most of the tracks, save for the final one.

The slight lofi-ness effect that you have on some of the instruments in this soundtrack is a nice touch!

I like Cathedral as a final piece too. Takes all the elements from before and slowly eases the player out.

Favorite Track:  Judgement + Final Battle - TearsFor (piano goes nuts here, love the really staccato arps and key changes)

Thanks!

Thanks! I appreciate the PSX comparison.

Great use of motif! Each track the used a motif worked it in seamlessly.

Love the contrast in instruments between Prologue and Epilogue; A more laid back timbre for the first and a more confident string one for the last track.

Bravo!

Favorite:  Mechacanthine Chaos (loved the DnB elements)

Thank you!

The soundtrack is very cohesive with a clear dedication to the pallet of instruments decided from the first track.

I appreciate your choice to use only certain percussive elements too. I like it.

Favorite Track: The H2Zone

Very epic!

The way this is mastered makes me feel like I'm playing a video game from the 90's

As always, I'm a sucker for piano and string works.

Favorite Track: "Deep River, Take Me Home"

Thanks! I took the photo while visiting an aquarium recently. Seemed like an ok fit.

Amazing dream scape of instruments! Artwork you have really suits the music well too.

Favorite track: 😺

I liked how happy this was! Also, when the drum pattern turned reggaeton at the end I approved greatly.

Wonderful! Shoutouts to polyrhythms

Thank you! Glad you like the piano piece.

What a treat to listen to! Each track has its own personality despite similar instrumentation.

I'm a sucker for piano and strings. Nice work!

Favorite Track: My Precious Delusional World

Very light and fluffy tracks, just like clouds.

I liked your choice of instrumentation too.

And congrats on getting this done despite setbacks!

Favorite Track: Danger In the Wind

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

Lovely!

I appreciate the ending as the arrangement tapers off into strings and piano and then just piano.

Gives the track a real contemplative feel.

Thank you!

Love the combination of plucked strings with delay. Gives a far out vibe.

Drum programming is tasteful too!

Favorite Track: Transcending The Dream

This is such an adorable soundtrack! It's simplicity is so fitting for what you are going for.

Hits me in the feels.

If you'd work on more tracks post-jam I'd listen! Life can be busy.

Favorite Track: my thoughts and dreams

What a grand, movie quality work you've made. This score is so cinematic it's nuts!

Great use of dynamics, arrangement, and dream-like timbres.

Favorite Track: Ingrained Fear

(1 edit)

Very dreamy. I love when the strings kicked in at 1:41.

Dipping in and out like waves. Lots of space like underwater.

Love your choice of plucks.

Reminds me a bit of another track I like from Ratchet and Clank: UYA.

Awesome job!

I'm a big fan to the ethereal nature of these tracks; Just really inviting.

My favorite part of the whole experience from the Main Theme starts at 1:30 in.  The rhythms on the Main Theme go so hard with the percussion picking up!

And wow the whole track was an emotional rollercoaster.

Very well done!

Hi Chris!

I'll be checking out yours shortly!

https://itch.io/jam/ost-composing-jam-7/rate/2844143

Massive output for the jam duration!

Lovely orchestral timbres you used here with a large amount of diversity between tracks.

Orchestral percussion was on point too.

Favorite Track: To Claim Oneself

Thank you! I love a good tone shift at the end when warranted.

Thanks!

Wonderful varied soundtrack! Each track is awesome and feels thematics relevant and cohesive to your vision.

Favorite tracks are:

Cognitive Caustics, love the arpeggiated plucks

and

Lost in the Mind's Abyss, epic 5 minute journey through sounds (and keys)

Enjoyed the main theme! The two chords switching back and forth leads to anticipation, which works well for a game about exploration.

Very fitting soundtrack for the game you described. I love the use of space you employ in each track.

Favorite Track: Saving Your Life (boss theme)

Very nice work! Each piece has it's own thing to say which is wonderful.

Impactful string and brass programming overall too!

Very much captures the vein of SNES era RPG soundtracks. I do tend to agree with encode42 about the instruments fighting over each other a bit.

Outside of that I think you did a good job!

Favorite Track: Living In Paradise

Atmospheric is a great way to describe this OST. It is fully committed to the sound throughout.

I like the choice of timbre you made here. Really reflects the image well.

Favorite Track: MOTHER (love the strings)

I like the arp / pluck timbres you chosen here. Very clean sounding.

I like your style! The instrumentation is very tranquil and wave-like.

It reminds me a bit of one of my favorite tracks from Ratchet and Clank: UYA - Obani Gemini

The use of noise and bubble effects really nail the atmosphere embodied in the image.
