That was a lot of fun. Menu-driven gameplay is difficult at such low resolution, but you pulled it off just fine. This felt very authentic too, like it really could have been an old game on a pre-iPhone smartphone.

I did have a slight balance concern. If I found a good sword upgrade on the first floor, I generally made it to floor 3+, but if I didn't, not so much. But that's a small issue, since restarting is very quick.

Nice one! The simple interface works really well, and I dug the old school roguelike feel to exploration and recovery. I did find myself clicking off the window occasionally when moving rooms, but it wasn't a huge bother. Given specific goals this seems like it'd make a great coffee break game, a little like Desktop Dungeons maybe.

Pretty sweet game, enjoyed the energy mechanic which made you have to consider which resource you needed more at a given time
