Did you work in a team?
2, Marc - Design/Dev, Ashley - Audio. Enjoyed but didnt have as much time as expected to make the game.

Was the resolution a challenge?
It was a challenge when using ue4. In the end the game use a post processing filter to fake 64x64 and all UI was built specifically at 64x64.

What did you learn?
had some fun ideas and concepts, Next time I will scope smaller and hopefully get to do the jam when less busy.

This game has great lighting and I love the moods of each area. I also loved how the ambient music really complimented each area in the game. I made it to the end and only really struggled with getting to the bridge that leads to the second area. Some details I really liked were the light on the back of the main character being used as a health indicator, and the sort of 'cinematic' intro also functioning as a tutorial of sorts. Really fun world to explore and quite a good size for a jam game. Great work! :)

I like the concept! Graphically the game stands out and has charm, but it can get really messy and confusing. For instance after you jump between inclined bridges there's an open area where the background looks glitchy and you can barely tell you're moving forward. The game really needed checkpoints because it's easy to get caught by the sun and hard to orient yourself and understand your surroundings. I loved when after climbing the first few rocks the camera goes into that cinematic angle and you can see the title of the game while the sun goes berserk. Initially I thought I turned into an angel because I thought the rocks safe area visual cue looked like wings to me, only later I realized what it really was :P

very eerie, and I love the art. Gotta say that I died a couple of times and couldn't reach the end because of one long strip of land that seems to be all in shade, but then i still died unexpectedly..  shame too cuz I think i was about to the end.  It was fun enough, i think the atmosphere did a lot of the heavy lifting. I like that the music would tune out when the sun's rays would come in.  Good job getting a game uploaded.

This is definitely one of my favorites so far. the artstyle and music makes it really eerie in a super cool indie way. Also i just love 3D games that have this look to them. I think you guys both knocked it out of the park.

I never made it past the first area (im pretty sure i was really close) but ill definitely be back to play this to the end!
