Seems like a cool idea, but I keep dying randomly when activating a plant and I'm not sure why.
I think it was because you used the last plant and you didn’t kill all the bugs so there would be no hope of surviving.

Solid gameplay mechanic, I like the addition of the plant food to distract nearby enemies. It did seem like there was a pretty persistent bug that killed the player when you used the last plant which meant you couldn't progress very far.
I think the reason you were dying at the end was because after you use the last plant, there would be no hope of killing the remaining bugs.
That mechanic might need to be better explained, it wasn't mentioned in the tutorial or description.

On my Mac, using safari the scaling is fine.
I can’t play in full screen mode and default resolution have little text blur
Aside from the problem love concept of the game
The game is scaling weird on my PC. The default web unity frame becomes very small after Unity finishes loading. If I do fullscreen, parts of the screen gets cut off, especially in the bottom.
I just updated the graphics settings so it should work now.
