I wasn't sure what to do, but it looked nice! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation, if you’d like to take a look :)

Thank you!  I also did a double take at your name, and am feeling kind of honored for you kind words.

Thank you again.  :)

It took me a while to figure out that I needed to carry petals from the bush to the circle, but it all clicked after that. The concept was strange but cool! I liked the background music. Neat entry, overall.

I like what you did, the fairy is a bit scary, but I love how her wings look! Also love how little space hud takes up at the top, that was a problem in my game. What font are you using?

Developer

Hi!  This was made in Pico-8 using their stock font.

They made the font available in a Creative Commons license.  A file and the CC information is available at the bottom of:  https://www.lexaloffle.com/pico-8.php?page=faq

Getting around the limitations of the HUD meant aiming for symbols instead of text where possible.

Thank you all around.

I appreciated that there were instructions. I still had to play the game twice to figure out what I needed to do. If you were to take this game further, maybe ramping the difficulty level over time, and introducing new mechanics.

Thank you!  Everything you said honestly encouraging, and agreed with on every point.  And again, this is much appreciated. :)

This is from an earlier build, and shows one possible way to finish the game.   The useful part starts at 30 seconds.

Hey everyone.  Please feel free to communicate!

This is my first game jam.  I was curious about the experience, which has so far been wonderful. This is also an effort to learn Pico-8 in order to help my brother.   Thanks to everyone who checked it out and who has made the discord server so lively.
