This is quite the challenge! I managed to get up to the third floor and promptly yeeted myself into the lava. It would be nice to make it slightly more forgiving. On top of the raw difficulty, there is a bit of a learning curve. The best move I found is to jump-move-jump in very quick succession, which gives you big height and a good arc. It would be nice if the camera could be rotated to additional angles, as it can be quite hard to see things. Overall a nice game with potential, especially for one made in 12 hours!
This game was really really really hard. I think you might need to give the player a little more control over their character in a post jam build. I think one thing you should do is allow the momentum of the square once it is already mid air. I did not feel I had control over where to hop. Don't get me wrong, I think that you should keep the game hard because that made it fun, but just give the player a bit more control so then the player can blame themselves and not their lack of control over the character.
boyyy is this game challenging! The pillars obstructing some of the vision adds for a nice additional challenge, clever usage of the environment.
