My friends and I have been playing this game on weeks when a player can't make it for example, leading to a "Round Robin" GMing style which is a little odd but with the system as simple as it is, games still run relatively smoothly. IMO we're reaching the upper limits somewhat after lots of sessions with upgrades and leveling but we're still able to challenge each other. Combat is still snappy, and the pacing is still great. The book provides some really excellent thematic seeds to expand on, and the antagonistic force gracefully doesn't conflict with the heroic tone, but it's still flexible enough to allow for players to scrutinize the Order they belong to and their allies if you want to go that route.
Well laid out, fun to look at, and great to read! I've played a few games and it takes a little bit to get used to if you're used to more common tabletops, but it's great once you get a feel.
